Personal Description: Adrienne has always enjoyed working with primary school aged children. During her time at sixth form college and when on holiday from university she worked as a nanny for a number of different children. Alongside this she also worked as a volunteer at a school based youth club as part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. Adrienne attained a BEd (Hons) degree from Kingston University and has been teaching for nearly 13 years.

Tutoring Experience: Adrienne has a broad range of teaching experience in infant and primary schools in Kent, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and London. She has worked in a variety of contracted positions and supply cover across the Foundation Stage, Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2. While teaching at Wanborough Primary School in Wiltshire Adrienne was Foundation Stage Coordinator as well as History and Geography Coordinator for the whole school. During her time at Barnes Primary School in South West London she was Key Stage 1 Coordinator and Foundation Stage Coordinator.

Tutoring Approach: With over 12 years primary school teaching experience and after school one to one private tutoring Adrienne Knaggs offers Maths and English tuition in your own home. Tution is offered in an informal, fun and relaxed atmosphere where a love of learning is encouraged and self confidence is boosted. Different styles of learning such visual, auditory and kinaesthetic will be taken into account. where possible. All tutoring is tailor made following a free assessment to determine the level a child has achieved in English and Maths and will be adapted as the child's learning develops. Regular feedback will be offered to parents and liason with the child's school will take place if required.
