Information About Amir

Personal Description: A Chemical Engineering Graduate and Computing Postgraduate, studying chemistry & higher mathematics for 3 years during my time at University. I work within the computing and telecommunications industry (14 years), in a variety of technical areas. This gives me valuable insight into the applications of IT, Science and Mathematics and so is a solid background to teach Mathematics and Science at GCSE level, with A-Level Chemistry and IT.

Tutoring Experience: 12 years experience tutoring: GCSE ICT, Maths, English, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, A-Level Chemistry & IT.

Tutoring Approach: I like to re-enforce the student's knowledge and understanding of the subject they find most challenging so it is a rewarding experience without adding to their work-load too much. Examinations can be pressure enough, so I have a coaching mentality to get the best out of my students whilst following their academic curriculum.

  • PostGraduate Diploma in Computing
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • A Levels in Maths, Physics & Chemistry
