Personal Description: A full-time mother now, having given up a career as editor in children's publishing. I very much enjoyed tutoring ten years ago in London and having a son has given me the opportunity to develop a career in personal tuition. On a personal note, I was helped by two excellent tutors through my A levels, without which I would never have completed my first degree with honours, or indeed my masters!

Tutoring Experience: I worked for the agency Top Tutors in London between the years **Telephone Number Removed** , tutoring A level History and English. I taught English as a foreign language for Islington council until 2001 when I moved to West Sussex.

Tutoring Approach: My approach depends very much on the student and their needs. One has to listen, look at their work and evaluate in which areas of their study they need help. The tutor's main aim is to give a student confidence in their subject so they can enjoy learning!
