Information About Antonio

Personal Description: I am a PhD student in Brunel University, final year, in Mechanical Engineering. I have a deep knowledge of physics and maths, strongly required for my studies. I am Italian but I have lived in UK for 4 years. I am easygoing, outgoing and communicative.

Tutoring Experience: I already have got experience as private tutor, both for Italian in UK and for maths, physics and science. Moreover, I have always helped my friends at school and university and my younger siblings when they had some troubles.

Tutoring Approach: I generally start with a summary. Then I evaluate the capabilities and knowledge of the student in order to fill the gaps in knowledge. I am very patient and keen in making people figure out the concepts behind. I try to find simple examples in order to make easy to understand and remember the details.

Qualifications:
  • Bac+MSc in Nuclear Engineering
  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering (final year)

From Averlie (5/5): Antonio is very knowledgable. He has a great command of the technical aspects of both Italian and English. He is able to teach at a very high level but also, as a native Italian speaker, he can teach for everyday use.

His approach is intelligent, focussed and very motivational. He also provides specific feedback after each session helping to identify areas that need attention. Most importantly, my daughter's confidence in her Italian has grown considerably as a result of his tutoring.
