Personal Description: I am currently finishing my final exams at St Mary's University College, Belfast and am planning to begin my Masters Degree in History at Queens this year. I'm easy to get with and have a passion for my subject.

Tutoring Experience: I have worked on several research projects with reputable institutions in Belfast which has augmented my knowledge of History. I have provided help to fellow students and indeed younger students at secondary education before on a voluntary basis.

Tutoring Approach: I like to keep my tutoring completely up to date with the latest teaching methods, including extensive multimedia and literary work. Small reading assignments would be given to the student to help them understand and appreciate the subject as opposed to just learning it by rote. Examples of successful coursework would also be shown in order for them to see what is required from them. I believe in a calm approach to tutoring with the minimum of pressure on the student.

• A-Level in History - Christian Brothers Grammar School, Omagh, County Tyrone
• Degree in Modern History from St Mary's University College, Belfast
