Personal Description: I am 24 years old with a Degree in Theology and a PGCE specialising in secondary education. I tailor my learning programmes to the strengths of the young people I work with while focussing on the areas they need to develop.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught religious education and english at mainstream secondary school to students with high academic abilities as well as those with special educational needs. In addition to this I have extensive practical experience working with students at a primary level, both in schools and as a tutor working with individuals.

I have spent time working with children with special needs at mainstream schools as well as those with severe physical and learning disabilities at specialist schools, and believe that all young people have the ability to achieve.

Tutoring Approach: I tutor individuals and make sure I approach subjects in a way that will interest the young person with reference to their hobbies. With focus on praise and achievement I have helped students of all abilities find a new enjoyment in learning.
