Personal Description: I am a practicing primary school teacher with over 10 years experience working with children from 7 to 11 years. I am also a key stage 2 SATS examiner. I have taught in both state and independent schools and tutored children for secondary school entrance examinations.

Tutoring Experience: I qualified as a primary teacher in 1993 and have taught at a variety of independent and state schools in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Tutoring Approach: I believe children do not learn if they are under stress and that learning should be enjoyable. I use many different teaching methods to encourage and to help a child achieve their best. I am realistic with my expectations and I share my targets with the child so they can be involved with their own learning.
