Personal Description: Having taught English in Language schools and colleges of further education for over 20 years, I have decided to concentrate on providing individual tuition to students in their own home or place of work.
My interests include travelling, crosswords, ecology, reading, live music and comedy.

Tutoring Experience: Since 1983 I have taught EFL, ESOL, ESP, EAL, literacy and literary criticism to both adults and children. I have worked in Greece, Indonesia, New Zealand and Japan as well as in the UK. I also enjoy the challenges and rewards of teaching those with special needs.

Tutoring Approach: I believe that the key to effective learning is motivation and endeavour to tailor my methods and materials to individuals, taking their aims and objectives into consideration and taking account of their interests and future plans.
