Personal Description: I consider myself to be a conscientious, hard working and adaptable person with a positive outlook on life. I am outgoing and like to meet new people as well as keeping a close set of friends. I am loyal and supportive to family, friends and students and always make time to listen to any problems that they may want to share.

Tutoring Experience: I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience. For the last 7 years I have been a private tutor, teaching English and Maths from key stage 1 to GCSE.I also tutor pupils to pass the 11+ and entrance exams to independent schools. I am also a trained counsellor, which I have found invaluable in building up self-esteem, increasing confidence and dealing with exam nerves. This has resulted in my students gaining higher grades than they would otherwise have achieved.

Tutoring Approach: I believe that learning is strongly influenced by motivation, I see one of my primary functions as motivating students to develop enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning.My role is also to set high standards will stretch potential to the maximum, as students will tend to give what is expected.
