Personal Description: Have been a personal tutor for over 20 years.Very experienced and successful.Retired now .Can travel short distances to students bases. 63years old. Pleasant manner and helpful to both parents and pupils.

Tutoring Experience: Have taught in both Secondary and Primary level since 1967.Until retirement was employed by Lancashire County Council in the Reading and Language Service, visiting schools to work with statemented children on a 1-1 basis. Have tutored privately for many years too.

Tutoring Approach: Depending on the level of pupil attainment ( arrived at by careful assessment) Build a programme which is carefully structured to meet the students needs containing much over learning and reinforcement. Assessing the students needs at all levels of learning. Much success with many pupils.

Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher since 1967
• Advanced Diploma in Special Education
• Diploma in children with Specific learning difficulties
