Personal Description: I'm 57 years old and a retired engineer. I have lived in Newcastle under Lyme all my life and I'm familiar with the North Staffordshire, South Cheshire area. Apart from being keenly interested in IT, especially home use, I enjoy angling and following local sport.

Tutoring Experience: I've helped people in local libraries and in the community to pursue a wide range of computer based activities. Having done Integrated Business Studies I've assisted people from absolute beginners to CLAIT,ECDL and those needing vocational help to Integrated Business Studies Part 3. It's been a pleasure to help a few disabled people and can assist the blind and visually impaired become confident with screen readers. Other areas that I've assisted people with include website design and upkeep, digital photography and Photoshop, desktop publishing,schoolwork, buying advice etc etc.

Tutoring Approach: Knowing how fragile I felt at one time in front of a computer I hope my approach is seen as friendly,relaxed and obviously informative.

Petrol costs for round trips of 10 miles or more can be negotiated.
