Personal Description: I have had a fulfilling career in industry and have managed my own electronics, computer and consultancy companies. Five years ago I decided to take up teaching as a way to increase my sense of fulfilment in my work. I secured a GTP place leading to a teaching post at one of the country's leading comprehensive schools and my students have experienced significant examination success.

Tutoring Experience: Five years teaching KS3 Science and GCSE and A-Level Physics.

Tutoring Approach: Every student is different and I have found it is important to understand the places in the curriculum whre the tutee is struggling. I am also concerned that students memorise key subject information and I regularly test their progress in this. My aim is to work with my tutee to develop an in depth understanding of the subject which will lay a firm foundation for future study at degree level.

Qualifications:

• BSc Class 1 Hons Physics, PhD Physics
