Tutoring Approach: In common with any tutor at Secondary further or higher education level, the primary responsibility of any tutor is to assist the student to bring the most out of themselves. To make the most of their ability by assisting them with the skills of interpretation, essay writing and presentation. The tutor might use their own academic knowledge and experience to assist the client student to broaden their own interpretation of a particular question or subject area, but is not there to provide answers, or to overly make up for a lack of work for a particular assignment. There will be willingness to assist, as far as possible, any client student at what ever stage they are, in order to attempt to meet that student’s academic needs, in both the long and short-term. Where appropriate the tutor will attempt to form a long-term relationship with a particular client student to develop these key skills over a longer period of time.
