Personal Description: I am a Primary School Teacher in Wellingborough who loves teaching. I have been teaching for three years and I get great pleasure from helping children achieve. I have a full understanding of the National Curriculum and the new Primary Framework. I have recently been observed by Ofsted and was graded as a good teacher with the potential to reach outstanding. I am a caring and patient teacher who puts the individual needs of the children first.

Tutoring Experience: During my training I had the opportunity of working with children aged 3-11 in a variety of schools in Northamptonshire, I have been a full time class teacher since 2005 and have taught a Year 3 class covering all aspects of the curriculum. I will be teaching a Year 6 class from September 2008. I also teach modern foreign languages (French, German, Spanish or Italian). I am currently tutoring a Year 4 boy after school on a Wednesday in Maths and English.

Tutoring Approach: On the first lesson I will find out your child's interests and set targets for the course of lessons. I will then design work that will appeal to their interests in order to stimulate and interest them so that they can achieve their individual targets and therefore gain in confidence.

Qualifications:

• PGCE in Primary Education.
• BSc (Hons) Psychology.
• A Levels English, Psychology, Art and Dance.
• 11 GCSE's (Including English, Maths and Double Science) Grade A-C
