Information About Emily
Personal Description: I am an American student who will be studying at Edge Hill University in the fall. I will be majoring in Sociology and Childhood & Youth Studies. I've spent a great deal of time working in summer camps with children, and believe that knowledge is absorbed most whilst having fun.
Tutoring Experience: I have four years experience as an in-school tutor, and three years experience as an outdoor education instructor. I've worked with kids from age 9-18.
Tutoring Approach: I'm a big believer in discussion as a learning medium. By talking and working out the problem out loud, by bouncing your ideas off of other people, solutions become more defined and elegant.
