Information About Emma
Personal Description: I graduated in 2002 with a BA (Hons) French Degree having studied at Bordeaux university. I worked as an Export Sales Manager for many years but in 2005, I re-trained and became self-employed teaching French to children and adults. I love the work I do - I am passionate about teaching and understand the importance of connecting with my tutees on a personal level so they build confidence and accuracy in learning French as a foreign language.
Tutoring Experience: I teach large groups of children with Le Club Francais (from 3 years old) and also many one to one tuitions and small groups.
I have experience in teaching children to GCSE level and also offer adult conversation classes at all levels
Tutoring Approach: I can design a course to your specific requirements or we can follow specific coursework, such as the new Key Stage 2 French curriculum.
From Lorna Rossiter (4/5): It is quite difficult to feedback after such a short period. However Aidan seems to be becomimg more relaxed with the tutorials, I think this is due to Emma's freindly approach. He has said that he is finding it helpful and that Emma explains things to help him understand. I have noticed that Aidan seems to be regaining his enjoyment for French and becoming more confident again.
Reply from: Emma Fisher: Many thanks for the kind comments. I do make every effort to put my tutees at ease as this enables a relaxing environment for learning.
