Personal Description: I am an electronics engineer who has retrained as a secondary school mathematics teacher and, as such, have many years experience of using maths in industrial, commercial and military applications.

Tutoring Experience: I have been a full time maths teacher for 2 years and prior to that I have tutored the children of a number of friends and neighbours to success in their Higher exams.

Tutoring Approach: My students find that my enthusiasm for the subject is infectious.
I like to use my experience in electronics to show the relevance of mathematics to the real world.
I make extensive use of PC based resources to assist students in visualising maths concepts.
