Information About Fleur
Personal Description: I am a parent of two teenage children and have been living in Scotland for two years. I am currently available to tutor day and evening.
Tutoring Experience: I have been teaching for 9 years. My main subject is English but I also taught Drama at GCSE. I have a post-graduate certificate in Dyslexia and Literacy and have specialised as an SEBD teacher (social, emotional and behavioural difficulties).
I am looking forward to tutoring S Grade English and Drama, Higher English and Advanced Higher English. Alternatively, I will be happy to help you or child develop your literacy skills. (Online can include Drama GCSE, English and English Literature GCSE.)
I have a particular interest in ADHD and teach strategies to help children and parents.
Tutoring Approach: My teaching motto is 'if it's fun, you don't notice you're learning'. I enjoy teaching, and aim to convert my students into lovers of English too. (Drama students already love the subject!)
I'm here to help, however, I can - whether it's improving spelling, handwriting or paragraphing through to structuring essays and original writing pieces.
I look forward to hearing from you.
