Personal Description: I'm 35 and completed my teacher training in 2007. I was unable to take a teaching position because I had to care for my Father in Australia. I have now returned to the U.K. and am starting tutoring as a way of easing myself back into teaching.

I enjoy teaching and the feedback I recieved whilst training was very positive. Some of my strengths mentioned by my tutors were excellent subject knowledge, excellent working relationships with pupils, and very good planning and lesson management.

Tutoring Experience: I am a qualified science teacher and am trained to teach all Science to KS4 and Physics to KS5. During my training I had the opportunity to teach science and maths and I have strong track record at teaching maths and physics to A-level. I also have a lot of experience of tutoring maths and science at GCSE, I have helped students cram for exams and also aided with there long term learning.

Tutoring Approach: Whilst training as a teacher I have learned that pupils have different learning styles and it is necessary to adapt my teaching to suit the individual. I also like to make learning fun since this helps with students motivation and keeps the lesson interesting.
