Personal Description: I am fully trilingual, born in Germany, French Nationality, English citizen, having spent almost the same amount of time in all three countries. Some of my qualifications are German and French, but I have full English equivalence. I am also a qualified therapeutic counsellor.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught, on and off, for 36 years now, here and in France, my youngest pupil being 4, my oldest 84 years old. I have taught in language labs, industry, University, state schools, private schools, so-called slow learners, Law English, home tuition, remedial classes, summer schools, ...

Tutoring Approach: My years in Steiner Education have taught me that sitting and learning solely through the intellect does not work. I use movement, music, colour, drama, poetry where possible. But I also know that, at a certain level grammar is vital.
