Personal Description: I am an enthusiastic and hard working Religion and Philosophy secondary school teacher. I try to bring religions to life for my pupils so that they can try to understand what it means to belong to a religious community. When teaching Philosophy and Ethics I encourage pupils to evaluate and critically analyse arguments for themselves and allow them opportunity to develop their own conclusions to the problems explored. I ensure that my pupils know a wide range of scholars and different arguments, that they are fluent in philosophical and religious vocabularly and can write essays with style, purpose and confidence.

Tutoring Experience: I have been teaching Philosophy and Religious Studies at secondary school level for the last four years. I am head of Religious Studies at Lytchett Minster School. My results at GCSE, AS and A Level have been excellent. I ensure that I get the very best out of my pupils and motivate them to achieve their goals. I have wide subject knowledge and am able to tutor the six major world religions, ethics and philosophy.

Tutoring Approach: I am extremely flexible in my approach to teaching depending on the needs of my tuttees and their learning styles. Some pupils learn better through visual stimuli, others by more interactive activities. I ensure that the approach I adopt is that which best suits the pupil I am working with and will enable them to achieve the highest results.
