Information About Jack

Personal Description: I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2007 with a 2.1 honours degree in neuroscience and completed a secondary science PGCE in 2008. I have played football and rugby to semi professional levels but have now unfortunately had to retire due to a shoulder injury. I now plan to return to university in 2009 to study medicine.
My prices are very much negotiable resting on where the tuition will take place. I have a car and can travel most places in the south and south east london area easily.

Tutoring Experience: I completed my PGCE in July 2008 at the Institute of Education, University of London, one of the worlds leading universities in education and teacher training. During this time I completed two 3 month placements in challenging inner city schools.
I have just returned from Sri Lanka having volunteered to teach english in schools and Tsunami camps and am now keen to get back into the sciences!

Tutoring Approach: I would hope to contact parents and tutees about what they would want to cover a couple of days in advance so that I can establish the best way to approach any possibly confusing concepts to avoid any misconceptions.
The tuition can then be done either at the tutees house or my own.
