Personal Description: I am a passionate, well qualified teacher who believes all Science can be exciting and understandable if explained and broken down sufficiently for all to understand. I try to use a range of strategies to ensure all learners make progress and achieve their potential. My University degree is in Mathematical Physics, which is where my passion lies. This makes me sound as though I'm a genius, I'm not I have worked very hard and struggled to ensure I achieved at my chosen subject. So I know what it takes!!

I work in a local East London School as Head of Physics & Assistant Head of Science.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught in a range of oustanding and struggling east London Schools. I have taught at all ages, but my main focus is on GCSE and A-Level where I have helped students achieve significant success, with exceptionally high pass rates. Many past students have gone on to more science study as they were so enthused by my teaching. I am one of few teachers who are specifically trained to teach physics, with my second subject being science. My most recent Ofsted rating was excellent and I'm also an experienced A-Level Examiner with OCR.

I have recently just finised a year working within the Physics Department at Queen Mary's, University of London where I have being Invovled with teaching Maths and Physics to 1st year undergraduates. I have considerable experience of tutoring with a range abilities.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to tutoring is simple, ensure you leave the session knowing more than when you arrived! I will tailor the session to your specific needs so you get the most out of the process.
