Tutoring Approach: I believe many problems students are experience are around confidence issues. Not having time in the class room to truly grasp concepts, can leave students constantly lost and not able to reach their potential. I can then working out a set of strategies with that student that will allow them to feel more confident and on top of the work expected of them.

From Diane Forrest (5/5): invaluable to have the type of tutoring input that Kate needs, as we (parents) don't have the the skills to provide this. A good rapport, and it seems that the most effective ways for Kate to learn and remember have been estabished. This suggests that you have got to know know her pretty well, and in quite a short period of time, too! There have been benefits from the contacts in terms of improved confidence and performance, and hopefull these will continue.

Reply from: Janet Mochan: Thankyou for these comments. I am really enjoying working with Kate!
