Personal Description: I worked in Civil Engineering for nineteen years as a project engineer and manager.
I re-trained as a teacher and taught in a secondary comprehensive school for thirteen years before retiring in 2006. I am married and have one son who is currently at University.

Tutoring Approach: I conduct tutorials in a friendly and relaxed way.
After ascertaining the student's particular needs, I will agree a programme of tutorials.
I usually use question and answer techniques together with explanatory diagrams.
I normally set homework questions (often from past papers) and go through these with the student at the beginning of the next lesson.
