Personal Description: I've recently completed an MSc in Developmental Cell Biology, and look to be starting a PhD towards the end of 2009. I returned to study after a 10 year break so I am self-motivated and committed to the subject. I'm an easy-going individual who will take time to help you through any difficulties you are having with your studies, and ensure that your understanding is as complete as possible.

Tutoring Experience: I was enrolled on the PGCE Secondary Science program at Southampton University in 2003. Although I did not complete the course I have significant teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach: My approach is very much based upon the individual's needs. I will gear my tuition to the parts of the syllabus with which the tutees are having difficulty and offer explanations and help that will, hopefully, increase their understanding. Although facts are important the concepts behind those facts are equally, if not more, important to get the most of a subject.
