Information About Judith
Personal Description: I am 25 years old and moved from Germany to England (Norwich) in 2006. After having gained very good A Level results both in German and English, I studied German at university for 3 years. Being German and also having studied the subject in depth, I can provide first hand knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and literature aswell as German culture.
Tutoring Experience: Alongside university I was working for various tuition companies in Germany teaching English, German and Latin to pupils from the age of 6 to 19. I have got experience in teaching small groups of tutees aswell as giving one to one lessons. Furthermore my most recent teaching experience has been in the adult sector providing my Welsh husband with a good understanding of the German language ;).
Tutoring Approach: Since my own school and student years aren't so far back, yet, I know very well about the stress of homework and preparation for exams. Therefore I'd like to keep lessons stressfree and make sure that my tutees enjoy learning in a friendly and relaxed environment.
It is important to me to listen to their individual needs and focus on what they are expected to deliver in class. Therefore my tutoring will be based on the tutees' books and curriculums, but I can also provide a range of own materials such as grammar exercises plus various adult education books and dictionaries.
