Personal Description: I am a well qualified teacher of French with 11 years experience of teaching French to both children and adults. I work part-time in a local secondary school and have a young family. I have a CRB certificate. Although I am English I lived in France for 2 years partly studying and partly working.

Tutoring Experience: I have worked for 11 years in secondary schools teaching French from beginners up to A level standard. I have lots of experience in preparing students for GCSE exams. In addition to this I have also taught French evening classes for adults. I have privately tutored both adults and children for the past four years. In the past I have also taught English as a foreign language to French children.

Tutoring Approach: I am flexible in my approach to tutoring and will tailor lessons according to the needs of individual tutees and will take into account your preferred learning styles. I have lots of resources which I use for beginners, KS3 learners and GCSE. I aim to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible!

Qualifications:

• BA(Hons) - II.i - Applied Language (French, Russian & Linguistics)
• TEFL certificate - with merit
• PGCE - Secondary French
• Maitrise FLE (French qualification equivalent to Masters degree in teaching)
