Personal Description: I am a young female teacher who is friendly and approachable. I have always had a good rapport with my pupils and I enjoy teaching my subject.
I am a fully qualified teacher and I am currently teaching ICT in a secondary school in Hampshire. My specialism is ICT and I have a Computer Science degree. I am also qualified in Business studies. I currently teach pupils aged 11 to 16. I am happy to tutor pupils from primary school as well as A Level students.
Tutoring Experience: I am in my third year of teaching plus one year of training previous to that. I specialise in ICT and computing studies but I am also qualified in Business studies. I also have experience in teaching basic numeracy and literacy to pupils from primary school.
I know the ICT curriculum very well and am very experienced in teaching DiDA at GCSE level. I have expertise in using a range of software and applications including the entire Microsoft office suite, Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks and DreamWeaver.
Tutoring Approach: I always aim to create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I will assess the ability of the tutee in the first tutoring session and once I understand the needs of the tutee, I can create a programme to suit each child and I will try to complement the learning from their school. I am approachable and patient, questions from the tutee are always welcome and I can cover any topics that the tutee will require. There will be no pressure from me on the tutee in any way, my main aim is to enhance their learning.
