Personal Description: I grew up close to London and having lived and worked abroad, I moved home to teach. I enjoy a range of sports in my spare time.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught in secondary schools in London for 3 years, and have been in an Oxforshire secondary school for 2 years.

I have taught a range of both Psychology and Sociology boards to GCSE and A level, with many students achieving grade A and B grades. For the last 2 years I have also worked as an examiner for the AQA exam board.

I enjoy the 1:1 experience of tutoring as it can be incredibly rewarding. I strive to utilise a range of teaching methods and resources which I adapt for specific individuals' needs.

Tutoring Approach: I believe that success in tutoring lies in ascertaining the specific needs of the individual requiring 1:1 support, and tailoring the sessions to these needs. I am passionate about the subjects that I teach (Sociology and Psychology), and believe that they both have the potential to develop an inquisitive and questioning mind.

I believe that my patient approach allows students to achieve the grades that they are working towards.

I can help with core topics, coursework and exam preparation - I believe anyone can understand a topic so long as it is explained clearly enough.
