Personal Description: I am a qualified, experienced teacher, and am married with teenage children. I have a degree in Modern Languages from Sussex University, a PGCE, and a post-graduate diploma from L'Institut Francais. I currently teach in a league-topping independent school, and have also worked in the state sector.

Tutoring Experience: I have been teaching and tutoring for 15 years, and my experience ranges from pre-school French clubs, through GCSE right up to A Level and the International Baccalaureate. I have taught many private pupils over the years and have not yet had a single exam failure!

Tutoring Approach: In addition to Modern Languages I also teach study skills, and I use my knowledge of unique learning styles to ensure that my language lessons are always tailored to each individual's strengths, enabling them to reach their full potential in the subject.
I am also experienced in revision techniques, exam skills and memory strategies - all very useful skills; not just for language learning, but for all other subjects too.
I find that a sense of humour and a bit of fun are very important ingredients for successful tuition.
