Personal Description: I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn and achieve their potential.

Tutoring Experience: I am a Primary school teacher with experience across Key Stage 2. I have experience using the new framework for both Literacy and Numeracy.

Tutoring Approach: I have experience successfully preparing children for Sats and am CRB checked.

During the first session I will assess the child's needs and talk to both them and yourself about the help and support that is required. I will then prepare questions from a range of past papers at the level that is right for your child. Together we will work through these problems and ensure your child understands how to answer these and similar questions. I will make sure that the sessions are interesting and stimulating and that your child can achieve their full potential.

If sessions take place at my home ICT will be used to enhance your child's learning.

Qualifications:

• PGCE Primary
• LL.B (Hons) (Law Degree)

From karen smith (5/5): We had our first session with Lucy on monday and she straight away reassured Lee that everything was ok and she was there to help. Lee by the end of the session was very positive and is looking forward to his session on monday. She has started him straight away on what he needs to do for his SATS which will be a great confidence boost for him when the time comes to take them. Very impressed so far.
