Personal Description: Hello,
My interest in teaching started few years back when I worked/still working as an Arabic interpreter and translator and i was sent to schools to help assess new comers. Then i worked with children who spoke little English in primary and secondary schools. I found it very satisfying seeing my pupils progress and achieve high marks, I'm proud of them all. I'm very friendly yet firm. I expect a lot of my students and I'm always there whenever they need help. Im approachable, well-mannered and enthusiastic.

Tutoring Experience: I worked as a primary school teacher (P5) and have experience in working with children from P1 to P7. I have also worked as a Bilingual Pupil Support Assistant, helping children who speak limited English and need help to progress at school. I worked in both Primary and Secondary school.

Tutoring Approach: I'm familiar with modern teaching techniques, especially those used to engage younger children and stimulate their thinking. I encourage active learning for younger children and stress the importance of using various learning styles:
1. auditory (learning by hearing)
2. visual (learning by seeing)
3. kinesthetic (learning by doing)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (Biology with Honours).
• Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education
