Personal Description: As the school I was working for is going through a transitional period, I have taken the opportunity to take some time out and travel a little, but I will be looking to settle into a work routine from mid-March 2008. I will then be flexible to fit in tutor time during the day, evening or weekends. I feel I have a relaxed demeanor and enjoy the funnier side of childrens' personalities, whilst maintaining a focussed teaching and learning programme. I would welcome the opportunity to teach English and other subjects alongside my specialisms of Art, Design & Technology.

Tutoring Experience: Four years teaching at Secondary School - ages 11 - 18, all levels. Mainly teaching Art & Design or Design Technology, but some experience with English GCSE and Citizenship.

Tutoring Approach: Committed to helping children/young adults in finding their own abilities through creative experimentation, and to help them discover new opportunities through learning and consideration. Private tutoring gives flexibility on both parts and complete focus for the tutoree.
