Personal Description: I am married, living with my husband, daughter and son, also a dog and two cats.

I work on a voluntary basis at the local primary school.

My hobbies include reading and embroidery.

Tutoring Experience: I have experience of teaching mathematics in Secondary schools and also of working in Primary schools.

I have been a private tutor since 2000. In this time I have tutored many students of all ages from 7 upwards at all ability levels up to higher level GCSE. I have also tutored adults to help them in their jobs.

Tutoring Approach: As a qualified Maths teacher I am registered with the General Teaching Council. I provide expert tuition in Maths at all ability levels up to GCSE level for students of all ages.

I tutor either at the students home or at mine, wherever the student feels more comfortable, so that we work in a friendly and relaxed environment, which I feel enables the student to work more productively and encourages concentration.

I have an enhanced CRB check, which is available for inspection.

I use a full range of up to date materials - text books, practice papers and other learning aids.

Before commencing tuition I have a full and detailed discussion with the student and parents about their requirements and expectations, and agree a study plan to meet these.

Qualifications:

• 8 'O' levels - including mathematics
• 4 'A' levels - including Pure Maths with Statistics and Further Maths
• B. Sc. Hons (class III) Mathematics - from Leeds University
• Post Graduate Certificate in Education - from Leeds University
