Personal Description: I am a professional translator, live in Cambridge, am married and have two young children. I am bi-cultural in Spanish-English as a result of having lived half of my life in Spain and Ecuador and the other half in the USA and the UK.

Tutoring Experience: My teaching experience is limited to tutoring adults (i.e. usually those older than 25 years of age) on a one-to-one basis. I have engaged in such tutoring in southern Spain (1989), in Nottingham (**Telephone Number Removed** ), and in Cambridge (**Telephone Number Removed** ).

Tutoring Approach: As long as the learner is willing, I try to make the development of conversation skills the focus of the lesson. If reading comprehension and writing skills are called for, I have a vast library from which to choose suitable texts for the occasion.
