Personal Description: I am a native speaker. I was born and brought up abroad, and this gives me a lot of sympathy for people living as foreigners in this country. I am also a writer, and have had short stories and a novel published. I love teaching and getting to know people from many different countries, some of whom have become friends.

Tutoring Experience: I have been tutoring EFL for nine years, from beginners to advanced. My students have ranged in age from 3 to 67. I also have a lot of experience in teaching for the Cambridge Advanced and Proficiency exams.

Tutoring Approach: Patience, sympathy, support. Lots of practice, and lessons that are stimulating and interesting. I want my students to enjoy themselves. If you are relaxed, you learn far more.

Qualifications:

• B.A. (hons) in American Studies.
• CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
