Personal Description: Registered Speech & Language Therapist - 4 years in NHS and nearly 20 years running own practice. Director of Ravenscar House Clinic. Specialist fields: stammering, dyslexia, dyspraxia and ASD. Also practising Human Givens Psychotherapist. Founder and former Executive Chairman of The Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice. Lectured for 10 years at University College London on ethics of working independently. Has served on various committees of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Tutoring Experience: Over 20 years experience treating children and adults with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, English Language, children with ASD, in addition to children who just need a little help. I work in London (Tues. & Wed) and Sherborne Dorset.

Tutoring Approach: Nurturing. Will go back to the level at which difficulty presents - e.g. many children have not yet mastered phonics and cannot therefore progress in their literacy work. Holisitic approach.

Qualifications:

• Reg.Member of royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Trained at UCL and City Universities. Graduated 1984.
• Member of Association of Speech Therapists in Independent Practice. Graduate (with distinction) of Human Givens Institute
