Information About Marion
Personal Description: I am a 22 year-old French female student. I was born in Paris and grew up there. I am now completing a Master in Management and Economics at the London School of Economics.
I live in High Holborn and I am willing to travel anywhere within Zone 1.
I'd describe myself as patient, outgoing, hard working and organized, with a real passion for both English and French.
Tutoring Experience: I have started working as a part-time tutor 6 years ago and have continued teaching part-time throughout all my studies. Thus I have extensive experience in tutoring French and other subjects, helping a wide array of students achieve their learning objectives.
Tutoring Approach: I am very flexible in my teaching methods and adapt them based on the pupils’ needs and requirements. During the first lesson an assessment of the pupil's capabilities will be done. We will then set together goals that we want to reach, so that we will be able to monitor the progress achieved over the course of the tuition.
My method aims at improving writing, speaking and understanding skills, depending on the pupil’s needs, through interesting and challenging lessons, following either a set syllabus (GCSE, A-Level) or a personalized lesson plan (degree level, conversational).
Interactivity is a very important part of my teaching approach. I always strive to make the pupil speak as much as possible so that its memory is stimulated and the atmosphere is livelier.
Most importantly, I try to strike a balance between seriousness in strictly achieving set goals and making sure that it is a pleasant experience for the pupil. I think the best way to learn is to actually enjoy what you are doing, that's why I always try hard not only to give my pupils the knowledge of the French language, but also to communicate the pleasure of speaking this beautiful language!
