Information About Mehjabin
Personal Description: I am a highly qualified Teacher and have been teaching in Birmingham schools for a number of years, ensuring that I provide an excellent professional service to clients. I am a friendly, caring and approachable individual and my enthusiasm for teaching ensures that I am flexible, tenacious and sensitive to a learner's style of learning.
Tutoring Experience: Since obtaining my Degree and PGCE certificates from the University of Birmingham, I have been fortunate to teach school age pupils in both secondary and primary schools and am currently teaching in the Primary sector (Key stages 1,2). It has been a rewarding experience, where I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of pupils from varying backgrounds. It has especially been a rewarding challenge tackling those who are underachieving as well as those who are gifted and talented but are under-performing. I also have extensive experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs, including Gifted and Talented pupils and therefore have teaching materials and strategies to maximise the success of learning outcomes.
My working knowledge of the National Curriculum and the Primary Frameworks for Literacy and Mathematics means I will not only tutor pupils to reach realistic targets for their ages but also towards their true potential. My teaching experiences as well as my qualifications ensure that I adopt a variety of teaching methods to engage learners of various styles so that learning is secured and progression of skills, knowledge and confidence is sustained.
Tutoring Approach: I have been tutoring Birmingham school children for almost two years as part of a local government funded project to raise literacy and numeracy achievement levels. I always strive to provide the highest quality teaching service and plan sessions that respects the learner's previous and current learning as well as factors such as pace and depth of study.
