Personal Description: I am currently training to be a Primary School teacher at Leeds Trinity and All Saints, but am originally from Richmond, North Yorkshire. I will be entering my third year in September. I am a friendly, calm and patient person who would love to help children of all ages. During the academic period of Sep-June I am based in Leeds, but I am also home on weekends so would be willing to tutor around North Yorkshire then too. I love to relax by reading, going to the theatre and dancing. I think my strongest subjects are English and Maths, but I also enjoy languages especially French and German.

Tutoring Experience: My teaching experience comes from my school-based training at university. I have taught children in Year 2 and Year 4 and am just about to enter a class of Year 6 children. I also organised some work experience before I entered university, teaching Year 5 and 6, two mornings a week. I have also aided my dance teacher in teaching children of all ages. I feel confident and breaking concepts down to children and working with them until they understand, no matter how long it takes.

Tutoring Approach: I would like to think that the way I teach provides children with a fun way of learning. I like to teach using interactive resources such as computers or games. I feel that children learn best when they enjoy what they do, and that is my approach to teaching them.
