Personal Description: After commiting to a lucrative career in IT/ Computing, I realised that despite being an effective "nerd" I really needed to work with people...hence I found myself taking a bit of a leap into teaching. So that's where I find myself now. I'm a father of two beautiful girls. I'm mad keen on mountain bike riding and am eager to plan new challenges....the Pyrenees, the Alps...nothing too small!

Tutoring Experience: I qualified as a teacher of ICT through the Graduate Teacher Programme, mainly teaching Key Stage 4 (but with some Key Stage 3 experience). After several years I moved to a Sixth Form College, which is consistently one of the highest achieving Sixth Form Colleges in the country, rivalling the top selective and independent institutions. Here I teach GCSE, AS and A2 ICT and Computing. My results are always outstanding - achieving significantly above the national average. I am also proud of the fact that irrespective of course, I have never had a student fail.

Tutoring Approach: I believe that a successful outcome for the student lies in a personalised approach to teaching. I teach in inclusive educational settings, so am experienced in teaching all students, including those with Special Educational Needs. My approach is relaxed in attitude but rigid in timescale, completion and standards.
