Tutoring Experience: I have been qualified for 5 years. I have taught in one primary school (during training) and two secondary schools (full time). While in these schools I have taught students with a very wide range of abilities and motivations. Strengths include: ability to convert Ds to Cs and Bs to A*s at GCSE, and getting onside reluctant learners.

Tutoring Approach: I will establish a strong and supportive relationship after which I can nurture a high level of commitment from tutees. I am prepared to adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs, and to be creative in my methods.

Qualifications:

• PGCE in English and English Lit
• 2:1 in English Literature at degree level
