Personal Description: I enjoy all aspects of Maths. especially relating different Maths problems to the real world. I often receive comments to the effect that I am extremely calm and demonstrate a good understanding of Maths - both qualities that help me tutor pupils well.

Tutoring Experience: I have been involved in training in various forms for approx 8 years. This includes 2 years teaching Maths in a modern secondary school. I have been tutoring for the last 2 years of which I have been a full time tutor for the last year.

Tutoring Approach: I place strong emphasis on encouraging my tutees to put Maths into practice in everyday life.Feedback to this site from existing clients includes the following adjectives:- calm, kind, generous, methodical and competant.

In fact they really look forward to seeing him. Both girls have said that he is really approachable which is of particular interest to us as our youngest gets very nervous about Maths!
