Personal Description: I am a full time employee of the NHS. I work in the field of statistics. I possess a Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Physics. The first two years of my university course included a significant amount of chemistry.

Tutoring Experience: I have prior experience as a tutor for Physics Standard Grade and Higher. My only experience as a teacher in the classroom environment is from my time as an Air Cadet instructor. I would teach cadets in the subject of Aeronautics and knowledge of The Royal Air Force.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to tutoring is focussed on instilling the confidence needed to enable the pupil to clearly understand the concepts and fundamentals of their subject, rather than simply forcing them to remember what they have read and regurgitate it "parrot-fashion". This arms the pupil with flexible skills that can be used to tackle typical exam questions they may never have seen before.
