Personal Description: I am a young professional woman in my mid-thirties. I have three children who I am home-schooling. I have a downstairs office which is fully equipped as a schoolroom. I believe that confidence is key to good exam results and one-to-one tuition is very important in gaining that confidence.

Tutoring Experience: I have tutored Maths and Sciences for over 12 years.

Tutoring Approach: If there is some time to the exams I systematically teach the pupil the subject areas which they are currently unhappy about or lacking confidence in. If there is only a few months to the exams then I believe that past papers and exam questions are the best way for the pupil to gain confidence. These questions will in their turn reveal any areas that need extra work which can be immediately dealt with. However I am very flexible and can change my style of tutoring to meet the student's needs.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Biological Sciences (Medical Biology), Degree in Biology
