Personal Description: Currently Assistant Principal Examiner with AQA A/S Business Studies and 20+ years continuous service as examiner, moderator, team leader at GCSE and A Level Business Studies.

Tutoring Experience: 26 years a Business Studies teacher ( 20 as Head of Department) in two schools. My subject specialism is Business Studies but have had considerable experience in Travel and Tourism and Marketing related content. Indeed, I have been involved extensively in Vocational Education both in school and in a further education college.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to teaching business studies is very much using current topical case studies and linking it to the relevant theory. Business Studies is ever changing and by developing the students awareness of current issues I feel this will make the subject enjoyable and will help access the higher level criteria in the examination. I also know the benefit of completing and discussing past papers and mark schemes which is invaluable to being confident and prepared for the examination. I enjoy Business Studies and aim to ensure my students do too.
