Information About Philip
Personal Description: I am a music graduate having achieved an upper second in music at Huddersfield University, specialising in composition. I am able to offer constructive advice on many different styles of compositional procedures to all levels. Additionally, I am baritone singer, pianist and organist and am a competent and sensitive teacher to a high standard all of these instruments. I am an energetic and focussed individual and always strive for perfection.
Tutoring Experience: I have taught singing, piano and organ lessons to pupils since the late 1990s.
Tutoring Approach: MUSIC
My approach is for all pupils to have fun, whilst at the same time enjoying what they do. I will teach both the ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses where I concentrate on developing a sound technique utilising knowledge obtained through my own lessons and from my University tuition.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
I have worked with computers since the late 1980s and have focussed primarily on Microsoft Office applications. I have worked as a Technical Support Officer and can explain cohevisely in a concise and methodical manner the most appropriate way to obtain results.
