Personal Description: I'm a chemistry graduate and also have a PhD in chemistry. I've always enjoyed chemistry and since leaving formal education in 2005 I have continued to work in a university environemnt as a researcher. I'm friendly and approachable and get a lot of enjoyment from helping people succeed.

Tutoring Experience: I have been involved in tutoring chemistry for about 8 years now. Additionally, I have taught practical chemistry at degree level in both a 1-to-1 and group environment.

Tutoring Approach: There's no point tutoring something that you already understand, so I listen to exactly where it is you need the most help and start from there. Equally, there is no point trying to start at too high a level, so if needs be we'll go right back to the very basics to make sure you have a thorough understanding of the underlying principals. I work to the specifications of the exam board to make sure everything is covered. I can also help in exam technique, as well as study and revision methods.
