Personal Description: I'm 50 and an Italian native speaker graduating in June 2008 with a confirmed first class degree in French, German and Education from Stirling University. I have already submitted all my course work and i'm, therefore available as from now.

Tutoring Experience: One teaching placement in a primary school, one in a secondary school and a 6 months teaching experience in a French primary school. Furthermore, I have given French tuition for 2 months to a 5th student who then passed brilliantly his French highers exams.

Tutoring Approach: Assessment-based approach taking into account Vygovsky's scaffolding theory and the learners as individuals with individual learning needs. I have high and realistic expectations of myself and the pupils and believe that the teaching of languages should be directed towards lifelong learning, well beyond sitting and passing tests.I put strong emphasys on grammar and practice of spoken language
